Would Jesus Christ minister on the Internet?

I think the internet is too slow for Jesus and has not the wisdom and authority Jesus has!

To tell the truth the internet systems might all break down when He try to go online, because He is the creator of all things and a internet!

I think Christ would definitely utilize the technological benefits of the internet. I doubt that he would sit behind a computer but he would have his messages going out across You Tube to the millions around the world who could not be there in person.

If you want to be technical Jesus Christ does use the internet to preach his gospel through his servants. As Mormons we believe that Christ guides this Church by direct revelation. So when the Church started using the internet as a median to preach the gospel that was by the direction of Jesus Christ. So Christ is already using the internet via his followers and servants to preach the Message of his Restored Gospel to millions every day.

What I have wondered though is when Christ returns to the earth will he keep the beard and robes or shave and wear a suit like his modern apostles do?

Imagine Jesus wearing a suit sitting on the stand presiding over General Conference with President Monson conducting!!!

It is true that his Church now actively pursues converts online with full-time missionaries preaching his Gospel face to face on Skype. The only thing they can't do is baptize and confirm, but that can be referred to local missionaries.

If Jesus were here, would he preach in person to a megachurch (like Joel Osteen in Houston, TX)? And would he have it broadcast worldwide and translated into various languages? Would he have a regular television series like the old "World Tomorrow" with Garner Ted Armstrong? And would his immediate staff offer free literature on various prophetic subjects? Would he conduct large revival meetings (such as those of Billy Graham in the L.A. Coliseum)? Or would he begin quite simply, like Chuck Smith's Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa over 40 years ago, and build from there into a modern missionary religion with trained Calvary Chapel ministers and missionaries worldwide (including extensive radio broadcasting networks)? Or would he come to the Vatican, don Roman Catholic high priestly garb, hold a conclave of Cardinals, and speak to the faithful in St. Peter's Square? Or would he train as an Ultra-Orthodox Rabbi at the Central Lubavitch Seminary in Brooklyn, New York? Would he wear a yarmulka and tsitsits, use a prayer shawl, put on tefillin (phylacteries), and touch the mezuza on his door? Would he read novels, such as "The Chosen" by Chaim Potok? Would he go to the movies?

How we imagine such questions (and answers) tells more about us than about Jesus, a man who did not begin preaching until about age 30, and who presumably engaged in carpentry with his father until then -- doubtless piously reading Scripture and worshiping at his local synagogue until time for his powerful three-year ministry and Atonement.

Sure.

Go to www.mormon.org and click on "chat online" in the upper right corner. Then see if you can arrange for skype with one of the missionaries. Let me know if that works. I haven't tried it myself. Only discussed it with some of the full-time missionaries who actually do it everyday.
