SeattleGhostWriter Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Okay, so I am having my fingers delicately dance with excitement over the keyboard. The past couple of days, I have been working on a new writing project that has compelled me back into deep study of the LDS Faith. This interest focuses on the beginning of Mormonism and the cultural context of Joseph Smith. Not an epic work, but a daunting task. After contemplating that I am about 3/4 of the way through with the first essay, I decided to come here and start a new thread. My happy fingers tap dance along they keys with such grace and fluidity that I am lost in thought.Upon completion, I click attach file. Never had to use it before and decided that I would like to this time (the work is almost 6,000 words in length at the moment). I then go to have the file attached (after uploading it) and I get a page that has the wonderful error message saying that I am not allowed to attach that kind of file. It is a word file, no virus or anything, just a file so others could download it, review it, and provide feedback on the file and then send it back to me. So, any way of bypassing this or do I have to have a special clearance to do this?
TAO Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) If it's a text document, use Free Text Host. Otherwise, use Google Docs (a bit more slow and laggy =/).BTW... how do you upload docs... I remember seeing the button somewhere, but could not find it. 0.o? Edited January 28, 2011 by TAO
