I don't know about the glint of apotheosis which you see in the Davidic Dynasty being like 'Elohim, or the the angel of YHWH being in their presence, but this poetic distich is certainly prophetic of the restoration of the the Davidic Dynasty.

Robert F. Smith Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Unlike the Bom, the Bible cannot be shown to have ever changed, by anyone. In spite of the fact that the LDS leaders have always claimed it has been and LDS members blindly accept it as fact. --RocMonkey I don't know where RocMonkey gets his information, but it is not from the scholarly community:Just for a start, he needs to take a look at chapter 4 of Saul Levin, The Father of Joshua/Jesus (Binghamton: State Univ. of New York, 1978), and at Bart Ehrman, The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture: The Effect of Early Christological Controversies on the Text of the New Testament (Oxford Univ. Press, 1996).
