Olavarria Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 "The works of God continue, And worlds and lives abound;Improvement and progression Have one eternal round. There is no end to matter; There is no end to space;"-If You Could Hie To Kolob It seems to me that the Multiverse idea makes ERS's cosmology for digestable. What sayest thou?
Maidservant Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 You said multiverse, so I had to stop by, lol.
RenegadeOfPhunk Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 You have to be careful promoting that there multi-verse idea...It gives us atheists an excuse to hand-wave away cosmological constants
Olavarria Posted October 23, 2010 Author Posted October 23, 2010 You have to be careful promoting that there multi-verse idea...It gives us atheists an excuse to hand-wave away cosmological constants That's fine.
RenegadeOfPhunk Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 That's fine.Ok... Well, who knows. Maybe she was onto something...But if the multi-verse really is 'real', then other 'spaces' may not bear much resemblance to our 'space'...So I guess you might want to avoid the temptation to think of it as 'our kind of space' going on 'forever' in some way...Also, I'm not sure all multiverse theories propose a literally infinite set of universes. Not sure on that one...
WalkerW Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 I certainly find the multiverse idea interesting. I mention it in my blog post "Creatio Ex Multiverse."
