Lachoneus
For instance, some manuscripts read Zedekiah where Jehoiakim exists in others and vice versa. Which has caused some, including myself, to wonder if maybe "Zedekiah" might be another name for Jehoiakim, thus resolving a few of the difficulties with the 600 year prophecy. If Judah was destroyed in late (Nov-Dec) 601 BC (2 Kings 24:2-4), long before Zedekiah (Mattaniah - 2 Kings 24:17) took the throne, and while Jehoiakim was still on the throne, then who is Nephi's Zedekiah? Did Lehi leave Jerusalem before or after the destruction described in 2 Kings 24:2-4? Could this be the destruction described in 2 Nephi 25:10 that occurred immediately after Lehi left?
