From the footnote in the Bible, Firstfruits = Greek "Firstling". I.e., the first one. The raising of Lazarus occured prior to this.

Again, who the heck is she? What did she say, exactly? (That would be a quotation.) Why would she know? And why should I believe anything she has to say?

Unless you name in real life happens to be Gordon Bitner Hinckley, you don't get to tell me about your revelations and expect me to believe them. Everyone else has to provide substance to back up their assertions.

She is an author called of God to reveal existing scriptures in order that believers might believe in the power and truth of Christ.

I don't give revelations, I gave you the book that I read it in. Believe what you will, don't trust me or any other man/woman, only the spirit can confirm truth to us.

You appear to be suggesting that you've had a conversation with Joseph Smith on this subject. Please describe the substance of this discussion, and explain how it is that you're having discussions with someone who's been dead for over 150 years.

John appeared to Joseph. Just like Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus. The dead don't appear in the flesh, and they were not labeled as angels.

We've been going around on this for several posts. Do you actually have anything of substance to say, or were you just shooting your mouth off? (Here are some suggestions for what might constitute "substance": a scriptural quote, a quote from one of the early church fathers, or from an early extra-biblical source, or from one of the latter-day prophets.)

Substance is subjective. You decide.

Your post comes across snipey, and unkind. All I am doing here is sharing what has been confirmed to me.

Who is this woman, and what is the name of her writings in which you hold such stock?

She was a member of the Church that had revelations. Was later excommunicated from the Church. After her death she was re-baptized.

To my knowledge our poster Son isn't a member of the LDS Church. He isn't affliated with any church, but holds the BOM and D&C as scripture. Not sure about the PoGP.

I personally don't have an opinion yet of Annalee as I haven't read any of her books yet. She has good reviews though on Amazon, but her life story is sad and it seems she might have had some mental problems. However most geniuses seem to have similar problems....so I can't comment.

I do know that Son is very much into her and I think we should be respectful of that.

Annalee did have quite a life. Her trials were intense, as most seekers are.

I researched her death and it is full of holes, the documents have numerous flaws, and the eye witness accounts were never credible. The Hope Hilton family hired a shady investigator out of S.F. to find Annalee.

I think it would be intersesting to open the casket. Either way it doesn't change the writings she was inspired to write.

They are the only interpretations of scripture that have ever been IMO. Flawless.

So far no one has been able to refute her understanding of Christ, the church or what is possible.

I am a self appointed missionary for her work, if anyone ever wanted to have a copy of her books I would gladly give them to them.

They do not promote leaving the church, nor discourage joining. They are as she says written with a pen dipped in heaven.

The wisdom in her writings could only be given by God and His Holy Spirit. She takes no credit for them, nor has ever received a dime for her work. Her name is on them as to protect the reader from blaspemy against the Holy Spirit.
