Joseph Antley Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Anyone know much about the "Order of the Nazorean Essenes", formerly and better known among Mormons as the "Sons Ahman Israel"?I found their website (http://essenes.net), and the founder also claimed to have translated the Sealed Portion of the Golden Plates. It has little resemblance to Mormonism anymore, though.Anyone know anything about the founder? I can't find much info on him.
USU78 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 bumpSo true, Antley. Here's a link to a wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sons_Aumen_Israel
Joseph Antley Posted November 1, 2006 Author Posted November 1, 2006 Yeah, I'd already read the Wikipedia article. I was looking at it when I read this post, actually.
PhilipTraum Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I had looked at the site before, until now I had no idea they were associated with Mormonism at all. It'd be nice if one of 'em could post here... though I'm not sure how well that would go.
