Milkyway71 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Egyption gods are false gods and represent the pagan religion of Isreals captors.
Milkyway71 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 People, this is not hard to understand...Joseph Smith could not translate egyption, and it has been proven in his fraudualnt translation of the BOA. These are FACTS people, facts.
LadySundancer Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Milkyway,Firstly, it's "Egyptian", "Israel", "Pagan" and "fraudulent".Secondly, you have not replied to my request for evidences. Let me repeat them here:(1) Verify the authors of the Old Testament books attributed to Moses(2) Verify the authors of the 4 New Testament Gospels(3) Verify the authors of the Epistles attributed to Paul(4) Give me the exact location of the original texts of the entire Old and New TestamentLet's see your evidence.Lady Sundancer
Gordon Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 People, this is not hard to understand...Joseph Smith could not translate egyption, and it has been proven in his fraudualnt translation of the BOA. These are FACTS people, facts. What, exactly, are you comparing the BoA to, in order to call it a fraud?
Milkyway71 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Because it is actaully based on FACTS as opposed to the outlandish mormon attempt to explain away such damning evidence. Well, Milkyway, I really hate to throw a rock in your window and drive the thread off topic but in your spare time would you be so kind as to:(1) Verify the authors of the Old Testament books attributed to Moses(2) Verify the authors of the 4 New Testament Gospels(3) Verify the authors of the Epistles attributed to Paul(4) Give me the exact location of the original texts of the entire Old and New TestamentI await your evidence.Lady Sundancer This has nothing to do with the BOA whatsoever.
LadySundancer Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 You're exactly right. It has to do with evidence.Let's see it.Lady Sundancer

These are FACTS people, facts. What, exactly, are you comparing the BoA to, in order to call it a fraud? Im comparing it to any fraud. The translations made by smith are not the real translations at all. Therefore J smith has been proven fraudulent.
Milkyway71 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 You're exactly right. It has to do with evidence.Let's see it.Lady Sundancer he evidence has already been provided. You cant get much clearer in evidence then the stuff that has long since proven the BOA a fruad. The translations made by smith are not what in reality the truly say at all.

That has nothing to do with the fraud known as the BOA.... It has everything to do with your assertions regarding the fraud of the Book of Abraham. Your assertion carries with it the implication that the scriptures that you hold to are superior and more well evidenced. So let's see it:1) Verify the authors of the Old Testament books attributed to Moses(2) Verify the authors of the 4 New Testament Gospels(3) Verify the authors of the Epistles attributed to Paul(4) Give me the exact location of the original texts of the entire Old and New TestamentLady Sundancer
Milkyway71 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 No it has apsolutly nothing to do with the BOA, the whereabouts of the Old testament writings has nothing to do with this, The FACT is that we have the BOA the Papyri J smith wrote on. And it has been proven a fraud.

And it has been proven a fraud. It has everything to do with viability of evidence. Let's see your superior evidence.Lady Sundancer
Milkyway71 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 There matbe evidence lacking to prove the infallibality of the Bible, maybe, but it is nothing like the damning evidence we DO HAVE proving the BOA a fraud.
LadySundancer Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 There matbe evidence lacking to prove the infallibality of the Bible, maybe, but it is nothing like the damning evidence we DO HAVE proving the BOA a fraud. And how will we determine your new assertion unless you post the evidence for comparison?Lady Sundancer
ScriptureLover Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Gordon:The BoA is canonized, and given to the world as if from the Lord, himself, so what is stated within IS infallible also. Kerry:Um, not quite. There is nothing saying because its in scripture that it is infallible. Even the BofM declares it possible to have mistakes within the pages of scripture.
Milkyway71 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Well the question I should be asking you is where is your evidence proving the BOA is not a fraud, or the BOM is true? Or better yet teh J smith was actually WAS a prophet?
