hagoth7 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) Jesus of Nazareth was teaching in the temple. A widow came and donated 2 mites, representing, per the world of wiki, about 12 minutes of labor of an average able-bodied laborer. Yet for her, it was everything. Whole hog. He clarified to his disciples "she, from her poverty, has contributed all she had, her whole livelihood." On a similar note, I once saw a story unfold where another widow stepped forward and stood in the gap. Again and again. With all her heart, mite, mind, and soul. Mustard. Mountains. Moved. Reminds me of when Jesus of Nazareth, amidst a world of other concerns, turned to his beloved, and asked for help being his hands to tend to certain matters. Edited July 11, 2017 by hagoth7 1
