savedwheat Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Deuteronomy 4:39: "Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else." There is nothing else beside God before time and space. He alone was from everlasting.
Russell C McGregor Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Actually if you are going to take that passage in that sense, you are obliged to conclude that nothing apart from God exists anywhere, ever. Fortunately, that's not what it says. It doesn't say that God alone is from everlasting; it says that he alone is God, both in heaven and on earth.
