Stone holm Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 True the Confederate Battle Flag was used for a variety of things prior to the 1960's, that does not, however, take away from the fact that the specific flag which ignited this current controversy was placed on the SC Capitol grounds specifically in response to the Civil Rights movement, nor does it take away from the fact that some of the Church leadership during the civil rights movement period made some very unfortunate and regrettable comments that are still being hauled out of the closet and waved in public as being inspired to this very day.
