Aramaic Bible In Plain English?

The extant Aramaic versions of the New Testament are just translations from the Greek into Aramaic, meaning the only differences you're going to find are those arising from (1) a wooden translation of the Aramaic and/or (2) text critical choices made by the Aramaic translators that differ from those made by modern editors. It would be nice if we had Aramaic texts that predated translation into Greek, if for no other reason than to prove that the Greek texts are actually translations from Aramaic, but we do not.

While this is a version translated from the Greek into Aramaic, one of the good things about these early versions is that they often have an older underlying Greek text than many that are extant today. One can sometimes reconstruct earlier readings from the early versions. That makes them useful to some degree.
