MormonMason Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Are there any fibres in the glue where the part of the figure has been pencilled in?It would be very difficult to tell that with any certainty from photographs, unless they were very high resolution photographs. The ones on the Church's website are not of high enough resolution to determine that in most places. In some places it looks as though there were pieces of papyrus there. In other places it does not. In yet other places, both papyrus and glue have been peeled from the paper backing, obliterating any evidence thereof. Only someone actually examining the original papyrus with a high-powered magnifying glass or a microscope could make such a determination with any finality.
