For those familiar with the mud-slinging 1988 presidential campaign, few names played a more important role in that process than Fred Karger.

The openly-gay Jewish Republican, well-known for his smearing attacks on anyone who disagrees with him, will now go after Romney, Huntsman and the Mormons in an intentionally anti-Mormon presidential campaign. More from MST contributor Joanna Brooks:

I hope he has success, with minimal damage to the Church as a whole. Though, he might have more success among the right by showing how much a socialist one of the persons is.
