We want to see where these principles take us as to the orientation of our own theoretical and practical conceptions of just how economics and gospel principles intersect and interact, a cauldron into which we have been necessarily thrown by the longstanding arguments of some other members of this forum (and long ago, by Dr. Nibley)Why have such matters created such deep dissension among otherwise faithful members of the Church in this forum? Given all that actually has been taught and said by generations of General Authorities on these matters, and given the substantial body of official Church sources detailing and clarifying such teachings, why all the hubbub?Why indeed.
