He also happens to be the son of a pastor, his parents have a book on the NYT bestseller's list, and he says that everybody in heaven, including himself, had wings (but presumably not multiple heads).

Did the angels really appear winged to this boy

I saw the interview on Fox and he didn't mention wings. He said one thing that really caught my attention and it was about his sister who died. He said God adopted her. His father asked him "You mean Jesus?" "No, Jesus' father."

I think the little boy really saw heaven but remember he was 4 when it happened and a lot of his memories, such as wings, are probably colored by what he has learned since then. The memories about the people he met however are very significant.

My wife and I read this book a few weeks at the urging of another church member. A good story with some false Protestant teachings sprinkled in.
