It just gives us an idea of what members of our faith believe, and demographic info about them. I'm learning a lot through it about other religions. For example. Hindus appear very committed to their marriage, and are even more likely to have children than Mormons.

As I see it the LDS on world wide average don't have a significantly higher birth rate than those of other Christians. Don't know about the Hindu.
