These can be used in your conversations with those who disparage and mock the Holy Ghost... especially those ex-mormons who tend to be the loudest in this particular critique of their former faith.First from the Bible...Psalm 39:1-3

As I have stated before I just don't get anything remotely the same when reading the BofM. And I don't have a problem if someone else does.From my years in the church though I do see a significant difference between what some people perceive as "the Spirit" and "emotionalism". Even many of our stake leaders began to warn of the difference in the past few years.

This is why in my first post I say that we should investigate the reasons for the emotional state, not just dismiss the emotional state altogether. The second one wasn't even about emotions really. It was about how many philosophers have defended religious experiences as being reliable and not mere emotions.
