Mike Reed:

When JS translated the BoM the standard Anti-Mormon line was that the ancients never used used metal plates to write on. Then years later up pops writing on metal plates in the right place and the right time for the BoM. Now the Anti-Mormons are all over themselves claiming sure metal plates were used it was common knowledge even to Joseph Smith.

Mike Reed:

That the ancients wrote on metal plates?

That Writing on metal plates was laughable in 1830?

That JS knew about writing on metal plates?

That "anti-Mormons argued the Cuneiform writing would only occur on clay tablets."
