maklelan Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I am no longer involved with the publication of Studia Antiqua, but I was just made aware that an issue was published last fall (which you can find here). The new editor does a fine job and I understand she's training her own replacement right now to take over this coming fall. The authors of this issue's papers are good friends, and they all do great work. I'm especially interested in Stephen Whitaker's paper. He returned from a mission to Greece last year and worked with me at the Religious Studies Center until I graduated. (Richard Holzapfel got called to be a mission president, by the way.) I'm also glad to see a non-Near East paper in the mix. Take a look, and if you're at BYU and you want to publish some research on the ancient world, don't hesitate to get in touch with Angela at studia_antiqua@byu.edu.
Joseph Antley Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 This was a great issue, and one of my friends was published in it as well. If I can get it finished, I plan on submitting a piece for this year's fall issue.
