The 1st Vision and LCW's claims are completely different.

One is a personal appearance, a vision, to one man. No priesthood authority is claimed to have changed hands. The other, LCW's claims are all about priesthood authority. Its that simple. LCW's claims involve something(authority) changing hands, the 1st Vision doesn't.

LCW's claim may be more analogous to Joseph and Oliver's claim to priesthood authority.

Again, when it comes to being a second witness, Daniel Bateman is no Oliver Cowdery.

Besides, the available journals for the men present the day the 8 Hour Meeting supposedly happened, seem to suggest that nothing happened.

I think its interesting how on the unofficial AUB website we get the following:
