I do want to respond to some of you're guy's comments, but first I'd like to see the context of David Bokovoy's quote from the Exegetical Dictionary because the etymology is so crucial to the discussion.

Translation - I really do not feel it is necessary to answer the questions that I keep dodging....simply because, well golly gee... that would be awfully polite of me to do that... so, instead, I will keep insisting on you all to provide contextual reasoning for your position while I play Dodge City with you Mormons.

2) Where is this definition found?

3) Does this Definition exclude Mormons? Why, and based on what credible sources?

4) a) If Mormons are not to be considered Christians, then how can Protestants be considered christians when they do not accept all the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church?

How can Roman Catholocism and Eastern Orthodox claim exclusivity of the definition of Christian when they dispute various doctrines?

5) What truly defines a "Follower of Jesus"? Why does this define a true "Follower of Jesus"?

6) Demons believe in Christ, does that make them Christians?

These are the questions you have been asked.

Now, stop the theological rabbit trails, answer the questions upfront, honestly and objectively. Or else, show forth more foolish meanderings on the short theological special ed bus.

But that would require a lot of personal scripture study and prayer. Cheap Gracers prefer to just sit in a pew for a hour each Sunday (or less) and hear some preacher tell them that they are saved with no effort on their part and pass the plate.

I mentioned the Cost of Discipleship to one gal who is a former Mormon. Her response, Detriech Bohnhoeffer did not know what he was talking about. I asked her if she knew who he was, she said she only knew that he did not teach biblical doctrine. I challenged her to research who he was, what he wrote and his anti-sentiments against the Third Reich and how he is hailed as a modern day Christian Martyr who died for his faith in Christ.

It seems that they want the easy way without the accountability.
