Zemah Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I have been interested with those who say there isn't an evolutionary trend to theological issues. If we presume that ancient Hebrew theology is simply a reflection of modern LDS revelation then we are doing injustice to the natural evolutionary trends we have seen and will continue to see. Indeed, we must be careful.Joseph Smith called this "evolutionary tread" a progression (unto Godliness). But I don't doubt for a minute that our fore-fathers of the Bible have attained this glory. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (to name a few) are, in my mind, gods in the priesthood and also my elders in Christ. I do not believe that we today will attain a higher glory than these patriarchs have; their Fatherhood in Christ is fulfilled in every priest that confesses that their own glory is secured because of those who came before them.Zemah
