Is The 4th Of July A Mormon Conspiracy?

I have to strongly disagree with the wording of the OP. The 4th of July is not Mormon "conspiracy" it is the restoration of the primitive Christian calendar. It is a well known fact that prior to 1830 there existed no July "4th" on the calendar. The days of the calendar for the month of July began with this sequence: 1,2,3,5, etc. Thankfully, due to the revelations of Joseph Smith, the calendar was restored to it's original primitive Christian condition that included the "4th" of July.

There may be some merit to this line of reasoning. I once asked my Australian brother-in-law if they have a 4th of July in Australia, and he told me that they do not.

So, it would appear that in Australia the calendar for the month of July indeed continues in the sequence: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, etc.
