  1. Repost. What do Erikson's Stages of Psychosocial Development and Belsky's risk model predict about people who wait after 30? Haase, Schmidt, and Ludke use Belsky's risk model to explain why some adults have poorer social relations. https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2012-19737-004 https://web.cortland.edu/andersmd/erik/stage6.html
  2. Would you agree Erikson's Stages and Belsky's risk model predict a lower subjective well-being for people who wait after age 30?
  3. Diabetes increasing among U.S. youth https://www.aha.org/news/headline/2021-08-24-study-diabetes-increasing-among-us-youth
  4. Americans have a healthier lifestyle now compared to the 2000s. "Overall, the percentage of all adults who now meet or exceed federal exercise guidelines rose from 18.2% in 2008 to 24.3% by 2017, researchers at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said." https://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/news/20190613/cdc-exercise-rates-up-for-urban-rural-americans "The CDC report found that 17 percent of Americans said they were on diets during the 2017-2018 survey period, up from 14 percent a decade earlier." https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/cdc-says-more-americans-diets-compared-decade-ago-n1246017 I agree age is not the most significant factor, but the incidence of obesity and gestational diabetes is increasing fast. Experts don't know why.

Time is change, or the interval over which change occurs. Do you believe cosmic time had a true beginning?
  6. Do you think the story of Sonic.EXE could be true?
  7. No. I don't believe in the devil, I simply want to understand what other people believe. Do you believe Satan is real? Why?
  8. I think medical research is little bit more rigorous than sociology. https://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/28/science/many-social-science-findings-not-as-strong-as-claimed-study-says.html I don't disagree with any of that. However, doing physical activity gets harder later in life because you'll have less time and energy. I agree women can do other things to decrease the risk of gestational diabetes, but age is an important factor. I understand there are benefits. You are adding too many words to my mouth.
  9. A lot of people are getting married after 30. What do Erikson's Stages of Psychosocial Development and Belsky's risk model predict about people who wait after 30? Haase, Schmidt, and Ludke use Belsky's risk model to explain why some adults have poorer social relations. https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2012-19737-004 https://web.cortland.edu/andersmd/erik/stage6.html I don't think evolutionary psychology predicts promiscuity. Most women are not promiscuous, so there's no need to panic.
  10. I'm not sure what you are trying to prove in the opening post. Would you agree there are married couples who lose interest in sex? Correlation is not causation.

That's assuming no other universes existed before the Big Bang. Do things happen in supertime? If so, what was the first thing that happened? Okay. I think I'm going to take my break now. You take care.
  12. Why do some couples go to therapy after years of marriage? Do ex-mormon stories prove the church isn't true?
  13. Are you sure? This video recommends holy water and religious artifacts for the people who have the Sonic.EXE game. Do you believe in exorcisms?
  14. I don't think most parents can say the same thing.
  15. Correlation is not causation. People who have good skills and are responsible can survive without a college degree. Women who marry engineers are more likely to be happier. Wouldn't educating people of the GDM risk encourage changes? People usually don't like change without a good reason.
  16. The Chinese study mentions, "A study in Finland also suggested that primiparity should be encouraged at a younger age.... For prevention, GDM primiparity should be encouraged at younger ages than 23 years old." I understand. Church leaders get a lot of criticism for encouraging young adults to get married, I was defending them. Here's something to keep in mind, "Epidemiologists have observed that the average person typically puts on 1 to 2 pounds a year from early adulthood through middle age." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/01/29/the-age-when-you-gain-the-most-weight/ I would say the third option. A 20 year old woman who marries a 26 year old engineer won't live in poverty. She can still go to college after getting married. You must be very proud.
  17. I will sorry. But we can have a conversation again when I'm back.
  18. I'm about to take a long break.
  19. Could Sonic.EXE be real?

How would you avoid ex nihilo ? https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11225-019-09851-8 Hawking meant out of the quantuum vacuum. Not a true ex nihilo. You can't do anything without time. You need time or supertime to do something.
  21. I understand. I'm trying to be as objective as possible. From the study: "may indicate that the optimal age for Chinese primiparas is younger than 23 years old. A study in Finland also suggested that primiparity should be encouraged at a younger age.... For prevention, GDM primiparity should be encouraged at younger ages than 23 years old. " https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s13410-020-00859-8 The incidence of gestational diabetes is increasing fast and faster for hispanics and blacks. Would you agree people should at least know the risks? 28 Do you have the data about 20-year-old women marrying 26-year-old engineers? As you said, it's not impossible for a married woman to go to college. What do Erikson's stages of development predict about young adults who don't go out on dates?
  22. Ten years ago the story of a haunted video game went viral. The game Sonic.EXE was supposedly created by a cult. So, I have some questions. What does LDS doctrine teach about Satan? Is Satan a real being who has powers? Or is Satan a metaphor? Could there be some truth to the story of Sonic.EXE? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_creepypastas#Sonic.exe The other day I watched this video. The video is about an abandoned funeral home. According to the video, the owner left because she saw the dead coming back to life. Can things like that really happen? Happy Halloween Season! I'm taking a break from this board.
  23. True, members of the church have a higher chance of getting married.
