Recently, I had an exchange with an atheist on a Christian apologetics site re: the LDS stance on who will and who won’t make it to the Celestial Kingdom. This atheist’s position was that should he continue on his current trajectory during this mortality (i.e., staying away from Church affiliation after having severed ties several years ago as an adult), he will not be found in the Celestial Kingdom according to LDS doctrine.
