  1. I thought this might be a fitting tribute for Memorial Day. Sister Jennie Taylor, whose husband, Brent, died while serving in Afghanistan, talks about her adjustment and about the things she learned through being separated from her husband for the rest of her mortal life. Of course, I never knew the Major, but I would like to think that the piece linked to below captures the spirit in which he served, and in which many others like him serve today.
