Apologies in advance, fam I've reserved some Temple ordinance cards for a Chinese Emperor who had many "wives." 12 of these 13 women have "consort" as their last name. Not sure that's appropriate to be used in the Temple. I can update the names to the Chinese word (hòu) for the same thing - but that doesn't seem to make it appropriate to use in the Temple. Huanghou (Empress) Fei (Consort) Pin (Concubine) Jieyu (Mistress) I suppose I could update thier FamilySearch last name to EMpress but that seems contrary to history - even though after we die God will make all of us Emperors and Empress'. Please advise and thanks in advance.

Recently heard from a missionary in China. He said his local stake presidency asked at least one ward and one Chinese branch to fast and pray that China would be opened to missionary work. Any chance you've heard a similar suggestion, locally or in other stakes? I'm not sure if the Spirit prompted only her stake presidency - seems odd - rather than an Area Authority or 70 suggesting this as a goal. Also - I imagine if China did "open" it would be for Shanghai Temple missionaries and family history missionaries, rather than the entire country being open at one time.
