I know I'd worry if I lost my temper with my kids, didn't abuse physically but yelled a time or two and felt so guilty when asked some of the questions. And my diet coke or even way back to my Tab addiction. Always brought that up too. Edited October 3 by Tacenda 2 Link to comment

My old grandmother wanted to be able to go to the temple again but was very addicted to coffee. She worked with the bishop and stake president about it and she tried to quit but her body simply would not let her give it up and was very miserable when she tried to do it. So the stake president told her if she could just cut it down to half a cup a day he would give her the recommend. She was able to do that and got the recommend. Going by the spirit of the law I guess. 5 Link to comment

Thus the reason for sending an embassy to Israel. (I hope you grieve at the atrocities committed on Oct 7, 2023). Link to comment

Also, my uncle who was a cattle rancher had a coffee addiction and then was called to be bishop and he went from coffee to a six pack of coke a day. I think that was probably not a good trade. So interesting how the members were authorized to perform the Sacrament in the home. When the "excrement hits the fan" and violence runs rampant and civilization collapses, members will have to go out into the wilderness with the body of the Church. We may need to conduct services in small groups. Link to comment
