Federal lawsuit against Department of Education dismissed

 It seems to me that the initial filing of the lawsuit in actions like these, and any appeal of a dismissal, get a lot of media exposure and fanfare, but the intervening dismissal of the case, or the dismissal of the appeal, get little or no attention.

It happens with science too. Very infrequently do retractions get attention. I think it is just human nature for sensationalism.

This applies to far more than legal matters. It is why lying is so effective.
