Hello to everyone in Mormon country. Regards for allowing me to join the board. I'll admit that after going over some of the new members threads and the regulations once more, I'm a little concerned that I might be kicked from this board or even arrested and thrown in Mormon dialogue jail. I have strong opinions and enjoy friendly debate. I guess if I offend anyone, I apologize in advance. I'll make an effort to behave kindly and not in my typical manner.

If you have strong opinions and enjoy debate then you'll fit right in here.  Most newbies that get themselves in trouble do so because they either don't follow the rules or they post their strong opinions but don't handle it at all well when they are disagreed with. 

That's when most of them post one last "how dare you respond to me like this" post and take their ball and go home.  If you can handle being disagreed with sometimes, and you follow the rules, you'll do just fine.

Hey, this site's "jail" is better than most facilities (except for the one's we stupidly build for ourselves) with that name.

Welcome, my advice…don’t “…make an effort to behave kindly” just do it. This way you will have no problems, and if you are a Christian, your “typical manner” should always be a life of “behaving”. Would you agree?

Edit to add: Oh, I didn't read what Papa said very well, I now get it. And just so you know, the board is very open for all thoughts, as long as it's civil and no temple rites displayed, or no trolling insincere posts. In other words be yourself, and if that self isn't here to have sincere conversation, and just wants to make fun of and use their time on here to bash the religion or ? That's when someone might get banned from a thread, or if it's ongoing behavior, banned for good.

The moderators want a civilized board, which makes it nice for everyone. Btw, I've been banned or was in Mormon dialogue prison for two weeks. Luckily not for good, and now on limited now so only allowed 12 posts a day, so I'm not trying to tell someone something without experience, lol. 

Just so you know it'd take something pretty fierce for a mod to ban someone from posting for good. So you need not worry what you say at all if it's coming from the heart. Just read over the board rules, I need to again, lol. Oops, maybe you have on second reading of your post.

So, hopefully my long drawn out post will help you discuss and not worry about getting kicked off.
