Bernard Gui
For those who have been following the tragic story of Susan Cox Powell, her father-in-law Steven Powell passed away Sunday. While this takes some pressure off her family, there are still important thing they need to know about her disappearance and death. There is a lot to suggest he knew what happened, and he may have been a participant. Unfortunately, he apparently did not disclose any knowledge of the details of her death to law enforcement officers before he died. https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/crime/article215420145.html Edited July 24, 2018 by Bernard Gui Link to comment

Jeanne
A whole lot of sadness there. Two families devastated. I do wish that Steven Powell had been more open about what he knew..this is something that I don't think we will ever get to understand. Link to comment
katherine the great
I agree with Morningstar. Horrible, depraved man. He can return to his maker and let Him deal with him. 2 Link to comment

Tacenda
I'll never forget listening to a blog he had singing different love songs, super creepy the lyrics he wrote and the way he sung them. https://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=16985924 Link to comment
Bernard Gui
There is a certain degree of relief that Powell is gone, but the pain he and his son Josh caused remains. While he is no longer a physical threat to the Coxes and some of his family members, the continuing damage is the uncertainty they face every day not being able to find Susan and bring some closure. To their credit, the Coxes have turned much of this to positive purposes. https://www.susancoxpowellfoundation.net/information/charlies-dinosaur/ They are also involved in efforts to reform Washington’s child custody laws.
