Blind folks and the Temple

Recommended Posts

I have seen sign language and captioning but do not recall ever seeing a blind patron.  However, I have noticed some movies have the option for turning on the "narrative description of scenery and action" as it happens on the screen.  Similar to turning on captioning for the deaf.  Could a blind patron be able to wear a headset for hearing the description?

I have been to sessions with deaf patrons and I see how that all works with the endowment session. The question I have is how do they do a session for blind patrons?

A blind person can listen to the session and generally get what they need from hearing.

The visuals don't add a whole lot of context that isn't inferred from hearing.

Unless things have changed drastically in recent years....
