Jump to unread posts in a thread?

Hi: It seems the forum has been changed with the last few months. After clicking on a particular conversation, there used to be a way to navigate to the first unread post within that topic. For instance, say I read pages 1 through seven in a thread titled, "Key Lime Pie Is Terrible". After a weeklong vacation, I log on to find 167 pages in the key lime discussion. 

Before the website changed, upon opening the thread, I could click a button that would take me to the place where I left off, previously.

Using the new site layout, how do I navigate to the first unread post in a previously visited thread? Thanks for your help, everybody.

You have to use the new post button before you open the thread, I think.

It is round if you have only read the thread or a star if you've postedin it.  Lefthand side of page at the beginning of every thread title.
