jkwilliams
I was just thinking about the friends I have made here and hoping all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. Thought I'd share one of my favorite Christmas hymns. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxDZjg_Igoc 2 Link to comment

Tacenda
I know it's over, but if anyone feels inclined, listening to these two Christmas stories is well worth your time, or I'm just old. http://radiowest.kuer.org/post/classic-christmas-stories-2 Edited December 28, 2015 by Tacenda Link to comment

Impossible. Impossible to absorb the profound and sublime truths of Christmas in a day. If you are going to acknowledge holidays, you have to acknowledge seasons if you would profit thereby! The Christmas season is celebrated by the biggest "demonination" in the world until Feb. 2, for forty days. Until Candlemas, the vestments are white and we rejoice while reciting the Christmas antiphon: "O admirabile commercium! Creator generis humani, animatus corpus sumens, de Virgine nasci dignatus est; et procedens homo sine semine, largitus est nobis suam deitatis." O admirable interchange! The Creator of mankind, assuming a living Body, deigned to be born of a Virgin; and becoming man without man's aid, bestowed on us his divinity. Link to comment
sunstoned
I personally consider the merry Christmas greeting valid through January 4th. That is the day I have to return to work. Link to comment
