The Last Ever Ssm Thread. Who's In?

Recommended Posts

So we have had a million threads on the pros and cons of SSM. A lot of viewpoints have been expressed. At times it has been very decisive. The courts have issued their verdict. The church has made their statement. Nothing is going to change on this issue. I would like to propose that we move on to other topics. Sure there will be other issues with church beliefs and the gay community. But on the issue of gay marriage it is pointless to continue to talk about it

So I make a proposal. I will never do another post concerning gay marriage. Who will join me. Who else is ready to move on. Let's hear from you

Heh, sure, of course you'd like to end the discussion at this point. Things are the way you want them right now But there is still a lot more we can say and do on this issue. Changes are still coming. The war isn't over. Your side has just won a battle, but those still opposed on this issue are going to be winning the war.

You may not realize it, yet, but there will still be some changes coming on this issue. What is allowed on this planet now will not continue to go on here forever. Prepare yourself for the change that will determine how things will be in the end.

I'm also in. But I reserve the right to discuss gay-related cake or pizza.

Of course. That discussion is about discrimination

When I say no more response to SSM threads I mean no more posts about whether SSM should be legal or not. That issue has been decided

I am sure there will be many issues related to the church and the gay community in the future that may be worth discussing

Should be legal? The answer is No!

Can considered to be legal according to how some people in America interpret the Constitution. Yes everybody has an opinion and it has recently been shown that some people can interpret it in that way.

Now some people just need to hear fron a an even higher court, yet again.
