Cool, pictures of head in hat, out front with first visions. These are all good signs right? Link to comment

The more the Church reveals (not to imply that they've hidden anything), the more we see that they were right all along. Link to comment

See http://josephsmithpapers.org/paperSummary/history-circa-1841-draft-draft-3?p=20#!/paperSummary/history-circa-1841-draft-draft-3&p=6 He also refers to them as gold plates and not golden plates. Some would view this asa big difference. Regards,Jim Link to comment

The more the Church reveals (not to imply that they've hidden anything), the more we see that they were right all along. Is the LDS Church's teaching that the angel Moroni visited Joseph correct when the Joseph SmithPapers says it was Nephi instead? One thing that caught my eye in the video was the part around 1:20. Joseph became frustrated withhis inability to find a church where he could find forgiveness of his sins. I assume he was readingthe New Testament and finally came across that passage in James before he decided to go into thegrove to pray. Could he really get through the four Gospel narratives and not know that finding a church has nobearing on getting your sins forgiven? Did he not understand the Atonement at his age? Thanks,Jim Link to comment
