The Nehor Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 are you supposed to? I dunno! but people do it all the time, I guess they never asked God about it or something!I did not ask God either. He just seems persnickety about how we get into this life and how we get out of it. I offered to die once (get taken, not suicide) but got turned down.

I think it was a Keanu Reeves flick when he said that anybody can become a dad (or Mom) but there are rules and licenses about who gets to drive! the in and the out are all regulated but what happens here is kind of whatever whenever or wherever you live

Which is good, as I once asked God the same thing, to just end this life. Instead, He led me to His table. God bless you on your journey.

I got to the table and while the food is palatable I really want the dessert course which I hear is out of this world.
Jeanne Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Forgive me, I am just getting back to this thread, but what I have read here, am I to understand that there is a punishment for those who commit suicide..is it a long one??? Is my sister still waiting to see Mom and her daughter?? Just a visit? Help!!
VideoGameJunkie Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) Jeanne, I'm not certain. Your sister could be at peace in spirit paradise enjoying her self through the infinite mercy and forgiveness of the Savior. I was the one that said people who commit suicide still suffer, but only because I read that in a book about near death experiences. I would put my trust in Jesus that if she's sorry for what she did, then she will be alright and will see her family. Edited August 22, 2014 by VideoGameJunkie
ERayR Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Forgive me, I am just getting back to this thread, but what I have read here, am I to understand that there is a punishment for those who commit suicide..is it a long one??? Is my sister still waiting to see Mom and her daughter?? Just a visit? Help!! It would be wrong for me to speculate about where your sister is at present, Her judgement is in the hands of he whose right it is to judge. What I am sure of is that she is in a far better place than she was. She is having the wounds of mortality healed. 1

Jeanne Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Thanks everyone for your replies. As it is, I have read alot of life after death books. It was my understanding that they were in some kind of limbo..I feel better now. Lonely..but better!
