I Always Knew That There Was A God...

To know, or not to know, that is the question.

“My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.”

as5.gif John Lennon quotes

I think everyone is over complicating this - it's a simple pole about "what we all feel", I think God is one of those things that we all feel.

I'm happy to report that I made it through the holidays (so far) without turning any tables over... sad, that I don't get to celebrate in Christian style, we sang old 60's songs, exchanged gifts, I don't think my kids are old enough to understand the rainbow of relationships that were exhibited around us, I smiled and took the pope's advice of just sticking to anything that was common ground (gardening? eating organic foods?) and not saying anything to rock the boat... strange, seems like everyone is so accepting of everything - everything except my beliefs.  Despite all the smiles, there was a sadness under it all... you really can feel it, when God is missing.

Jacob 7:14 And I said unto him: What am I that I should atempt God to show unto thee a sign in the thing which thou knowest to be btrue? Yet thou wilt deny it, because thou art of the cdevil

Sherem, like Korihor, also knew despite what he claimed... Everyone knows, that's what makes it so sad.

I think most atheists plan on acting as if they always did if they ever find themselves in that situation.

Planning for the future is a quality most admirable. ;)
