ERMD
We spent last week in Florida diving with a group of Wounded Warriors. Despite their challenges, these young men learned how to function in a foreign environment and did so with determination and good humor. Their courage extends way beyond the battlefield. We dove several wrecks as deep as 100' and a sunken bridge span. Lots of marine life, including barracuda, lionfish (not native to the area) and a fairly rare batfish. The trip happened to fall on our 24th wedding anniversary, so it was a good week. 2 Link to comment

Garden Girl
What a wonderful experience for you... and the men. I really respect the Wounded Warriors... and wonder if I would have the courage to continue as they do.For a number of years I've contributed to the Paralyzed Vets (and just hope that my donations are well managed and don't go to mainly "administrative" or fundraising costs). Congratulations on your anniversary, and on an event that must have been great for the WW.GG Link to comment
