LifeOnaPlate Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Hey y'all. My band from SLC finally got our album edited and put together a few weeks ago. We're called Jiminy Finn and the Moneydiggers. I helped arrange the songs, and I sing backup vocals and play the drums. (And the kazoo. And sing lead vocals on the bonus track.)You can download a free track and also purchase the album for $10 here:http://bit.ly/IPrh1y 1
Peppermint Patty Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 LifeonaPlate,Good stuff. Track number 5, "Sticking it to the Man" is much different than your other songs. It has an almost "Violent Femmes" or "Black Flag" flavor to it. Was this intentional?
Kenngo1969 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Most bands are named during a night of wild, drunken partying. (Although it's not beyond the realm of possibility that your band was named under similar circumstances, for some undefinable reason, I doubt it : would you care to share how the band acquired its name?)
blackstrap Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I'm just gonna guess about the 'moneydiggers' part...

Was this intentional? We have a sort of acoustic/folk/punk vibe, and although I've long loved the femmes, any similarities are unintentional, I say. 1
