I recently attended a funeral. As is my habit, I walked the line of stone and wondered about the stories that they told. One stone I found quite interesting. The name was Scottish but on the backside of the stone was a Hebrew word: חכצבה

Can anybody provide a transliteration and a translation?

חכצבה is gibberish, but תנצבה makes perfect sense. TNTzBH stands for Tihiyeh Nafsho Tzerurah Bitzror Hahayyim, may his soul be bound in the bundle of life. This ubiquitiuos blessing is drawn from 1 Samuel 25:29.
