Anijen
I am speaking in church tomorrow and I am looking for a quote and I cant find it. It is about the meaning of the names of Joseph and the name Hyrum in Hebrew. I think it could have been a conference talk but I have no luck at LDS.org in searching for it.IIRC it was about Joseph meaning a gift or endowment and Hyrum meaning faithful brother or something like that.Any who are gifted at quick research please help. I love doing research but I am not that quick. Link to comment

HeatherAnn
Joseph \j(o)-se-ph\ as a boy's name is pronounced JOH-sef. It is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Joseph is "Jehovah increases". Biblical: the son of Jacob who, sold by his brothers into slavery, rose to become a supreme power in Egypt. Also Jesus' earthly father, a carpenter.http://www.thinkbabynames.com/meaning/1/JosephGood luck on your talk! Link to comment
