Magyar
I just saw again last night the incredible story of John Moyle, pioneer and stonemason, who walked 20-some miles every week to the Salt Lake temple site, to do the work to which he had been called. He continued even after he lost a leg.The man was amazing. His place is secured in heaven. But I cannot help wondering. Couldn't anyone in the whole Salt Lake valley spare a horse for the poor guy? LeSellers
Couldn't anyone in the whole Salt Lake valley spare a horse for the poor guy?I wondered something similar when I first heard/read it many years ago. I believe there are parts of the story missing in the accounts we have. It might be that he could not ride a horse. However, buggies and wagons abounded. It could have been his own pride that kept him from asking for one. Maybe he could not care for the animal (needed to pull a cart). Don't know, but the question is interesting. Lehi Link to comment
