Rivers
I recently listened to this podcast which I thought was downright amazing. It is an interview with a gay man who was excommunicated from the church. I was very impressed by how positive his attitude is towards everything. He is still a believer and attends church. The story he tells provides a lot of things to think about. His story provides great examples of how complex and difficult the subject of homosexuality is for members and leaders in the church. I highly recommend this podcast. It is very inspiring.http://mormonexpress...11-steven-fehr/ Link to comment
cinepro
This one was interesting as well, but perhaps not quite so positive. But it definitely had one of the more interesting mission stories I've ever heard Episode 68: Zilpha’s Conversation with Nate: Coming Out and Coming to Terms Link to comment

I was also impressed how much the LDS Church members showed him love and support including the leaders who spent noticeable time in behalf of Steven which Steven expressed and felt. As his stake president stated: "Men, can excommunicate you from the Church, but nobody can ever excommunicate you from God".My heart goes out to Stephen and the countless others who struggle in these situations.
