SkepticTheist Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Yet another inconsistency that is best seen in the light that this is all a big regrettable mess that we can all be happy is "behind us" according to President Hinckely.Most of the messes in Church history are best viewed from the standpoint that they are "behind us" as well.It is simply a mistake in itself to dwell on them or trying to over-analyze or make doctrinal speculations on things that amount to nothing but mistakes in themselves.What some people don't realise is that Elijah Abel's sons were also ordained to the priesthood in Utah under Brigham's tenure.
