Robert F. Smith
I can't post in the other sections, so I'll post this here in case anyone finds this interesting:Genetic uncovers new path to Polynesia:http://www.scienceda...10203124726.htmNice confirmation that the Taiwanese "linguistic and cultural connections [to Polynesians] are due to smaller migratory movements from Taiwan that did not leave any substantial genetic impact on the pre-existing population." This also fits with the non-Taiwanese origin of the feral and domestic pigs found in Oceania (http://www.scienceda...70312231808.htm ). Let's hope that Tom Murphy will give that some thought at his next Luau. Link to comment
