  1. I thought of you while listening to this podcast this morning, I hope this is a good response to your post here. I believe many members believe the one true church is non negotiable, but should it be? https://atlastshesaidit.org/episode-136-lets-talk-about-the-one-true-church/ Non negotiable to me, is hoping to do no harm.
  2. Your right, not Summer, his cousin. And I missed that you said the 16 year old still knows it's wrong to murder someone.
  3. I know I heard or read that Alex was involved in a car accident (?) that made him like a 16 year old for the rest of his life, I think this was from an interview with his sister Summer. Not saying this is an excuse but I wonder if it did more damage than was first thought. I just can't imagine even the worst criminal being able to do this. And I think Chad is as evil as they come with Lori as well.
  4. It means you can do baptism's for the dead only. And when my kids got theirs I believe it needs to be renewed every 1 to 2 years, but I'm not sure. So it's not for the endowment/sealings/washing and anointing sessions. I just have to say, I laugh at your usage Priesterhood, not laughing at you, but it just makes me giggle. Congrats on being ordained, and your upcoming Patriarchal Blessing. I always loved getting any kind of blessing. Very comforting. But I don't know that I would trust every word in the Patriarchal Blessing, it's human fed, but they are usually very nice unless they lead you down a path that isn't right for you. That's just me being critical because of some people's experiences. Mine was gotten when I was in my thirties, not the typical teen age. And it didn't tell me what to do in my life really, just said some nice things.
  5. So JJ was in some locked room at night, where? And I'm sure I read that Lori has an alibi on her whereabouts when it happened right? And does that leave Alex and Chad to do the unthinkable? I can't imagine a worse death, besides burning, which it sounds like happened to Tylee. The people that can do that are right up with Hitler. Or down there hopefully.
  6. I read too much non fiction, use to read Nora Roberts though, don't ask me which ones because it's been too long. Need to get back to fiction!
  7. This would make me a murderer, my victim? Whomever did or caused this.
  8. Maybe it's already been posted but this is a phone call at jail between Lori's sister Summer and Lori. And Summer nails the questions for Lori.
  9. Listening to Kay Woodcock's testimony, I cannot fathom other than the schemed up idea to get their hands on insurance money, why Lori and Chad would snuff out three and maybe four lives. Kay stated that she helped take care of JJ in Houston while Charles was straightening things out with the separation of he and Lori. Why, oh WHY couldn't Chad and Lori have just let JJ go live with his grandparents and his dad too and then Tylee go on to college, and then the two of them could have all kinds of time together. And let Tammy be with her children, and be free of Chad and live a decent life finally. It's such a sad scene in every respect.
  10. I was unaware, good to know and further reason we shouldn't just give up, or deny. My friend's husband laughs when I mention climate change, he mentions all the flooding and rain. Duh, that's climate change.
  11. I had no idea!! Thanks for these!
  12. I appreciate the support by mentioning my name, about the fewer cars meaning clearer skies. And something I hadn't thought of, which was in front of my face here living in Davis county with our refineries, it plains stinks literally, and I'm sure the environment is paying a price for it, but had forgotten about the cancer causing pollutants you mentioned as well. So although we may be too late for the ozone layer we aren't too late on preventing cancer hopefully.
  13. Here's a recent photo of Utah's state capital in this KSL article today, one of the worst in the nation. And the second photo is of the Utah State Capital during covid, with less gas emissions. https://www.ksl.com/article/50625325/report-northern-utah-has-some-of-the-countrys-worst-ozone-particulate-pollution
  14. Very long, oh so long. Kind of how when your having fun it's short. No I shouldn't be mean, I'm sure being prophet is very humbling. And I'm sure Elder Bednar will not be the same as before, IMO. Like what happens to many leaders. One of my bishops for instance was very cocky as a Gospel Doctrine teacher, but once he was called to be the bishop, different man.
  15. Broken record here, but the covid causing clear skies everywhere gives me hope that I probably wouldn't have had had I not witnessed it. Then here's a before and after:
  16. Dummy me, he's been excommunicated for a few years now.
  17. I heard Chad has been excommunicated recently, how true I don't know.
  18. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/22/how-sono-aptera-and-lightyear-are-making-solar-powered-evs-a-reality.html#:~:text=German company Sono Motors %2C Southern, miles on a clear day. And yes, your next question might be, what to do with the old solar panels. Or the pollution from making solar panels? Right on it, I'll be back. ETA: It's not a perfect system, but they are working on it and it appears to be better than what we have now. Making solar panels doesn't cause gas emissions but there is the problem of carefully disposing them when they go bad. A work in progress though. https://eponline.com/articles/2022/12/09/solar-panels-and-their-effect.aspx#:~:text=One of the major environmental, compared to other energy sources. And does it cause pollution to make them? https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/solar/solar-energy-and-the-environment.php#:~:text=Solar energy technologies and power, larger effects on the environment. Again, work in progress, they keep making it better and better. I hope we all figure out a way to make less an imprint on mother earth, bad imprints.
  19. There's no need to really guess, it is the next president in line. https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/friend/2016/04/how-are-prophets-called?lang=eng
  20. Did you see the world when covid locked us down? No gas fumes? It was absolutely amazing. All electric cars could do that for us, and the beauty of recycling batteries. I will never forget the sight of it when there were far fewer vehicles.
  21.
