  1. I’ve heard this hypothesis before. It’s interesting to think about. I definitely don’t think they could have been referring to Neanderthals when they talk about “giants”-if that is even the correct interpretation. Neanderthal people were shorter than us on average although very, very stocky. Our ancient hunter/gatherer Pleistocene ancestors had far more in common with Neanderthals than they do with modern people. Even though we are the same species, culturally the Neanderthals were really not that different from them. If the Jews are the children of God, then perhaps the Homo sapiens of hunter gatherer times were the children of men. Maybe even everyone who wasn’t of their faith.
  2. Wow. People are capable of the strangest things… 😥
  3. I’m surprised the husband wasn’t arrested too. How could this have gone on without his approval or at least knowledge? Or maybe was he one of those who reported her?
  4. What a bizarre rant she gave before being sentenced to life in prison, with no possibility of parole. Glad to know she and Tammy are such good friends. 😳
  5. Life is a rich tapestry. 🤷‍♀️
  6. I find it almost poetic that she was convicted over Mother’s Day weekend. 🌸 Bless those sweet, children’s souls.
  7. Guilty on all charges. As expected. Yay, Idaho jurors! (Lori is stoic)
  8. I was in the portal when the storm zipped right past me. He looked furious!
  9. Verdict is in. It will be broadcast around 12:45.
  10. Yes and no. He may have been Jehovah, but the interpretation of Him as filtered through ancient Israelite culture/worldview does not ring true to me. I think many atrocities were credited to Jehovah, that really were just cultural practices of the people. Not at all.
  11. Good question. I think the best example of what God is like is Jesus. I like to study the four gospels, and I think that’s where we can get the best information about who Jesus was and what He stood for.
  12. Does it really matter? We are all the older son at some points in our lives, and we are all the younger son as well. I see one of the major points of the story being that we should worry about our own journey more and our brother’s less. God will judge us all with perfection. ❤️
