The Pope Isn't A Communist?

Recommended Posts

In the Holy Father's upcoming trip to the USA, the White House is including as guests for his welcome, people who reflect a dissent against Catholic teaching. Obviously done so purposely, and I expect pictures will be taken of the Pope at an event with a pro-abortion nun and a transgendered person, and the so-called Traditionists, will slam the Pope for being pro-gay and pro-abortion.

Which of course, only supports the intent of those who seek to embarrass the Holy Father in political situations.

Cuba!

Because nothing says "mercy" and "joy" like a seven-story high neon picture of a communist mass-murderer.

Yes folks, it's the Pope Francis in Cuba show! Brought to you by the Obama administration and Pope no-one-was-ever-merciful-in-the-Catholic-Church-until-I-came-along Francis.

Hi saemo.

One of my problems with Pope Francis, is that like Stalin and Castro, he doesn't seem to distinguish between alms for the poor and enforced taxation by governmental decree. According to Catholic traditionists (sic) the latter saves no one, neither the poor who is envious, nor the rich who is greedy. Taxation is not charity and you don't gain heaven by supporting programs that force other people to support the poor. When has the hammer and sicle produced anything except class envy and some pseudo-savior of the people that lives like an emperor and crushes all of his opposition?

Do you mean a redistributionist?

If you own the goods, then you can distribute.

If you confiscate from others and give to favored classes, then you are redistributing.

In the first case, you are a benefactor.

In the second case, you are a robber.

It is better to be a distributionist than a redistributionist.

Therefore:  UP with free markets   DOWN with socialism (of all kinds).

The United Order and the settlement of "Deseret Empire" was done on the basis of "callings" (assignments) made by leaders and "managed" by individual recipients (and settlers).
